Finished this Tuesday. I’d NEVER have guessed the motive for the kidnapping and thus the murder. Wow. Is this ever appropriate for today’s times!

A good read. I’m all this way through and I still don’t know whodunnit. I mean, we know part of the kidnapping plot and people but not the whole story nor who the murderer is. I always check the copyright date to anchor myself in time. We’ve progressed so much, like even counting money used to take hours, which caused me to pause reading because all my life I’ve seen it take minutes.
