Moving through this one pretty quickly. An interesting time capsule given that advancements in vertical farming have happened but we're still in a wait-and-see approach. It's a compelling technology/philosophy of agriculture.
I'll say this: There's inexplicably a lot of natural history that doesn't really support an argument and some claims seem impossible to prove and undermine the credibility overall.

If we need another brazil worth of farmland, can’t we just reduce global inefficiency to help? Apparently 70% of all crops aren’t used by humans or the meat industry (pg27) so shouldn’t that help?

Now the population guesses for 2050 is 9.5 billion, earlier it was 8.6, then a page after that it was 8.4. A bit sloppy….
