#SpringHorror I very much doubt that this book contains a single recipe I can use as-is. I'm saving the ones I think I can revise to fit our needs, and so far I have saved one. And let me tell you, it's not that tempting, considering Trader Joe's sells zucchini fritters by the box.

To say that the alcohol evaporates when cooking, without leaving any in the food, is an oversimplification. I'm all for cooking with alcohol, but if I am serving to somebody who cannot tolerate it for any reason, I won't risk it.
