Status Updates From Come to Castlemoor

Ya so I know Jack shit about Celtic history and culture other than they were a pain in the ass for the Romans (rightfully so) and I know about Boudica thanks to horrible histories, and I feel like this book is not an…ahem…accurate representation of the history or ancient culture….

“I stared at him cooly…I didn’t want to him to think me the typical Victorian prude”……….did people living in what we now KNOW as the Victorian period refer to themselves as Victorians…??

Lol I like how in Jennifer Wilde books there’s always a secondary “maid” character that’s literally the same person in every book- chatty, outgoing, sexually experienced, etc.

I absolutely hate new edition covers of old books, I want paintings not photos!

Ugh, deleting this from my Kindle. It's so boring.

Lolz. This hero is a real Harlequin-esque douche -- y'know, the "HOW DARE YOU BE BEAUTIFUL & GIVE ME A BONER?!" types. We are amused. :D

Surprisingly enjoyable thus far. I'm digging the whole "creepy Victorian town terrified of Druids" schtick.

Trying REALLY HARD not to judge this book because it's by same author as Dare to Love. It can't possibly be as boring as that snoozefest, but still...
