Surprisingly enjoyable thus far. I'm digging the whole "creepy Victorian town terrified of Druids" schtick.

She laughed, a lovely, tinkling laugh, like wind blowing through the crystal prisms of a Japanese wind chime. There was something desperate about this childish conduct, as though it were her defense against something darker, something that threatened her.'

Yup, still on the first page. I think I'm afraid of this book. *facepalm* C'mon, self. Don't be a pussy.

Trying REALLY HARD not to judge this book because it's by same author as Dare to Love. It can't possibly be as boring as that snoozefest, but still...
