I wish we had a whole year of no sun these heatwaves are killing me off

After a month, I’m on page 294 of 850 and contemplating not finishing.

Okay, I think I’ve lost the thread of what the plot/motivation is. If the point is that Mr. Norrell is dull and uninteresting despite being a very accomplished magician, I get it. Now, like the rest of England, I want to be amazed in spite of that.
