"I’m not in love with the narrator, but I am hooked by the plot! Interestingly I’ve listened to this narrator in two other audiobooks that I loved. Maybe she just doesn’t do guy voices well (the other books had male/female narrators) or maybe she’s laying it on thick here." 15 hours, 6 min ago

G. Willow Wilson
“The real struggle on this earth is not between those who want peace and those who want war. It’s between those who want peace and those who want justice. If justice is what you want, then you may often be right, but you will rarely be happy.”
G. Willow Wilson

Christopher Paolini
“when air, food, and shelter are assured, only two things matter. Work and companionship. To be alone and without purpose is to be the living dead.”
Christopher Paolini, To Sleep in a Sea of Stars

Ignatius of Loyola
“Lord, teach me to be generous;
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
To give and not to count the cost;
To fight and not to heed the wounds;
To toil, and not to seek for rest;
To labor, and not to ask for reward -
except to know that I am doing your will.”
St. Ignatius of Loyola

Alan Moore
“Our integrity sells for so little, but it is all we really have. It is the very last inch of us, but within that inch, we are free.”
Alan Moore

Leo Tolstoy
“He stepped down, trying not to look long at her, as if she were the sun, yet he saw her, like the sun, even without looking.”
Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina
