Ugh I just love how much of One Piece’s heart is in this tiny little story. Luffy before Luffy.

Romance Dawn- it’s was so interesting to read the original concept of one piece, to see Garp as a pirate was something else. It’s also nice to see that Luffy hasn’t changed.

Monsters- I love this story, it has everything I want in a story. I in particular like how similar he is to Zoro.

Ikki Yako- I’m loving these before one piece stories, it feels like as I go I’m gathering little pieces of what will become one piece. The cowardly heroic monk reminds me of Usopp most of all but also Nami, Chopper, and Brook, Oda sure likes his cowardly hero’s.

Future present from god- I loved this, I adore a short story with nice and clever ending. Oda writing about a lovable lucky pick-pocket doesn’t surprise me since one piece has so many mischievous but moral characters

Wanted- this was a cute little shirt story, apparently Oda wrote it in high school so it’s cool to see how his style has developed.
