I had to give up reading this book. I’m not sure I’ve ever read something so boring. I thought this would be more engaging, but I guess I should have known what it really was based on the blurb: “Integrating archaeological, genetic, linguistic, and literary information, Ferguson realizes a Viking history bound to satisfy.” Perhaps some are satisfied; not me.

It is very good as I have been learning about the artist who depicted the old Norse age and also talked about in 1867, they found longships that emerged that date back to 900 and another huge ship as well where they found a man’s remains and professor Per Holck have been doing experiments on the body to get some data about how long ago was this man killed and was his ship attacked and how big or how tall was he.
