Makes sense though, this whole book culminates into the second half in which our protagonists “discover” Scarazand, the land of insects. Pretty entertaining even with the gaps in previous lore (haven’t read the first volume) that I have.
I don’t really like Pearl if I am honest. Her attitude towards Tom given how he’s doing her a favour is irritating at times.
