I hate this book, so far. Alex, of Hispanic background and from some island that I'm not sure actually exists, wants to get married to Loren, whom he has been betrothed to since they were kids. This now-28-year-old woman acts like a teenager and only wants to participate in an arranged marriage to spite her mother, whom she can't stand.

I feel so sorry for Loren, she went into this marriage with a heart full of love & desire, and all she got back was a bitchy personal assistant, and a marriage built on the hope of proving a curse was not real. I mean, come on! Start running Loren!
