The content was good and essential for designers but I would've respected the writer more had he taken the efforts of hiring an editor or working on a second draft to distill the book to 50 pages. Like any other non fiction pop sci books it fills the pages with verbosity making the read painful and insulting the reader. Being a designer myself, I did not expect this from such a notable figure in the field.

Talks about conceptual models and how some design functions fail to adhere to the conceptual models people have.

Discussed affordances, signifiers, mapping, and feedback showing how to make interfaces more effective for human use as well as looking into examples where design is less effective.

Brings an interesting introduction to the theory of how items should be made with human behavior in mind
