I cannot, in my right mind continue reading this book anymore. It sucks that I am probably reading this book at what is, the worst time to read it with the Epstein Files coming out and all. Martin Nowak, in this book, mentions visiting his Island and that's sickened me. Beyond that, an email in the files has Epstein asking Nowak, "did you torture her?" and I don't think i want to read it anymore.

"Although the subject of group selection has been highly controversial, I believe there is now a wide range of evidence, both experimental and theoretical, to show that it is a distinctive and fundamental process that permeates all of evolution, from the emergence of the first cells to the behavior of social creatures such as humans... It works in a cultural sense as well as on DNA and genes."
