I LOVE this book! I don't want it to end, yet I am excited to know what craziness happens in Jon-Jon's life next!

Goulian's description of sex includes: "Too many potential perils." My description of Goulian's writing includes: "Too many perils, period."

"...fall to the ground and curl up in a ball like a pill bug, with my eyes tightly closed, and my little hands, in tightly closed fists, in front of my face." Goulian is talking about how he'd respond to a mugger, but I'm thinking that's my only protection from the banal excesses (are those even possible? yup.) of this book.
