chapter four: lady baglady
this is where i started to run out of steam and where i’ve ended for the night. it didn’t keep my interest all that much, and my eyes started closing on their own the longer i went on.
an interesting social commentary on trends in the cultural zeitgeist, just too long and didn’t care.
i did like the context given on why she ran away, though. the best in that category.

chapter three: miss america
the most boring one so far. i generally didn’t know what was going on and got lost, but also didn’t care enough to reread it because i just didn’t like it. i did reread the ending, though, because it made absolutely no sense to me.
very forgettable, unfortunately.

chapter two: mother nature
after the last chapter, i was severely disappointed by this one. it did kind of feel like a palette cleanser, though, which was nice.
overall, with the individual story and poem about mother nature, i was neither impressed nor bored. just reading a story. meh, i guess (insert nina west vs. silky nutmeg ganache lipsync here).
however, i actually did like the overarching storyline part.

chapter one: saint gut-free
although it was the first one, i think this’ll get the biggest reaction out of me. mainly because sounding is HORRIBLE and i hate it. definitely set me up for a weird, gross-out book.
my mom came in and thought something was wrong and i was about to cry, so that should give you enough information about this part.
i’m pretty interested in how the rest of the book will play out now.

Director Denial’s “Exodus” holy shit. Foul, gross, with an ultimately beautiful conclusion

Święty Bez Kiszki dopina ostatnie mosiężne guziki i pochyla się, żeby pocałować Matkę Naturę, pytając:
– Kochasz mnie?
