just a thought whilst reading this: the more you stray away from islam by mixing it with culture and other acts that are contradictory to the deens rulings the more women (specifically) will find themselves in a position where they’re being oppressed. never met a female who comes from a family that prioritises their own ideas over islam to be content, its just not a thing bc the whole point of diluting islam
