Status Updates From Bernard and the Cloth Monkey

Really enjoying this thus far. The narrative style and the writing really work for me. An returning to her home after such a seismic shift, really brought forht some gorgeous recollections. Also, the untold secrets of the past lurking beneath the narrative are really intriguing.

There's so much trauma in this book, it's almost overwhelming. The narrator is quite good at giving clear voices to each character. Not all are nailed but being in the ball park is good enough.
