Fuck me for getting another flu after a shitty long one was mostly gone dor a whole week.

But now it's finally time to reread books 1 & 2 so I'll be ready to read 3 & 4 on my holiday week. It is also possible I will be sucked in so bad I'll be done before my holiday.

The tropes in this series are killing me. This one is fake mating 😂

So what if I am in the middle of the latest PsyCop and another series with a medium/detective, I just reeeally want to read about this psychic. Who's a plumber. Tom is just precious.

I've enjoyed this a lot, especially after getting used to the narrator's voice. But what are they going to do for another half of a book?

I'm loving how these two just completely FAIL at being enemies. 😂

I feel like I am not really following all the treasure hunting and historical tidbits listening to the audio. And sometimes I also feel too much dread to listen to this while I'm walking/cycling. I'm interested enough that I might swap to ebook, but I'm not dying for it. Will see. Right now I'm low on audio options and probably won't be enabling any subscriptions because I have several owned ebooks to tackle NOW.

So the book #5 is probably never coming out but my thoughts have been constantly in this series, and Moriarity is not an asshole (refreshing for Lanyon) so here we go! Second read incoming.

It's been pretty basic. A tad boring. But smooth enough that I'll still continue and see if it gets cute.

I have a feeling this book is going to be too long. There is A LOT of inner monologue going on and the MC is not especially hilarious or anything to make up for it. I would have used so much red pen editing this.

But, i's not BAD. I'll continue on and see if I'll get too frustrated or if maybe sucked in after all.

I am doing my forays to audiobooks with more lighter reads, listening while commuting, so this fits.

I actually like it. The narrator too (I don't know a thing about narrators yet). I will probably end up thinking there's room to trim - like so often - but it's been nice. It's a bit slow going though, I'm just listening during walks and bus rides.

This seems funnier than Nightmare Before Kissmass at least.

Feeling a bit silly to listen to a translation of a Swedish book in English, but I don't think this one is translated to Finnish and my Swedish is way too rusty for this. I should probably start with some picture books. 😅

Oof, I might need to DNF this. I need to return the book and it wnet weirdly preachy so I'm not feeling it atm.

I'm all for kindness, but I don't really get this whole "let's always be kind and sweet even to people who actively hunt us, otherwise we turn into someone else (=monster). Ugh.

I didn't really want a sequel but it's been alright, though quite depressing. Starting to feel a bit fatigue now though, so let's see.
