I'm just going to go out on a limb and assume this author did not ever own a cat.

And this is the part where I begin to question Wax's intelligence.

Poor Steris is trying to live in a somewhat awkward romance novel and the whole world is against it.

Wasn't expecting to see similarities between this and the Smile movies but I'm not complaining.

Man's a paranormal investigator but upon hearing of a gun that's supposedly haunted by a demon and that is associated with several deaths is just like, "Yep. Normal gun. Nothing special about it, don't know what that guy's problem is." Sir, why is this your line of work?

I would actually be perfectly happy with just 500 pages of Callum and Tristan texting.

So far the most unrealistic part of this series is not the FBI recruiting minors but the idea that 307 college kids would all show up on time to take an exam. It's not even a final exam.

"Natural aptitudes, like yours, peak in the teen years. Formal education, college, the wrong influences, could all interfere with the incredible raw potential you have now." - A man working for the FBI, which requires you to have a bachelor's degree to get hired. I sense a conspiracy in this universe.

Over a hundred pages in and I have just now reached chapter three. I recommend this book to fans of long chapters. This may even beat out Mistborn.

I finished my philosophy class only to read a book with sections that read just like my philosophy class.

I don't remember anything that happens in the second book at all but I can't find a recap and it's not available in my library so here I go anyway. The land of confusion awaits!

This family sure does like to do everything in the same time frame.

The fun thing about this book is it starts pretty slow, and it's interesting but I could take it or leave it. Then the ball does not just start rolling but is smacked violently into motion and now I have to wonder if I could read around 200 more pages tonight to finish it. The answer is no, but what if?

I'm predicting that this book ends with a bunch of retail employees coming together to murder Andrew for dropping all the clothes on the floor.

Can we just send Lady Asha out a window?

Little did I know that the previous books were actually setup for the plot of a comedy (ignoring, you know, all that important political stuff).

Also, is it just me or is Taryn the most inconsistent character? She's the equivalent of a cake made by a drunk man that has never baked in his life, doesn't know the ingredients, and didn't even skim the instructions.

I love condemning characters based off one sentence and then being justified for it lol.

I have decided to commit! Only time will tell whether this is a good call or a terrible mistake.

I really never care for romance subplots to begin with, but this guy? It has to be this one? It can't be a different guy or a random girl or a moldy rock?
