fun & easy to read, perfect palette cleanser. I loved the way it dealt with time — the book was so in its 20s because it was worried about climate change and fascism and bodily changes YET it was so grounded in the present moment. Like sometimes your whole life is changing but you don’t even know until it hits you on some randomly at 2pm on a Tuesday.

Himself Senior’s words align perfectly with what Pemulis says earlier about the mechanics of repetition until the movement becomes your instinct and you perform without thinking. How long it takes for a body to get there. And the body betrays you! The lessons here about becoming Great in tennis apply to becoming great in anything.
