why do robin and vickie have a better dynamic in this than the actual show?

today’s was a lot cuter!!!! i wasn’t sure where it was going at first but it was actually sweet and wholesome and written a lot better than the first. you can tell this book came out in the 2010s though lol

percy is so funny, annabeth literally kisses his cheek at the end of the book and openly flirts with him and he spends the next two books being like “oh no way annabeth likes me! we’re just friends” LMFAAAAOOOO ok

poppy is my fave emhem girl because she’s completely delusional. she’ll be like “alex is so gorgeous and funny and he smells amazing and i don’t want to be anywhere other than in his arms god i love him……… as a friend” LIKE WHATEVERHDSJ
