i don’t understand why lucy can’t just tell bridget when it seems clear that she has known felix had a crush on her for years

it’s hard for me to get into this idk what it is. i guess i just don’t really get the overall plot. like ok you slept with your best friends brother 5 years ago……. and? i’m just waiting for there to be literally any sort of stakes or tension.
