day 4: begin again
lynn painters story!!!!! and of course it was perfect! I loved the subtle little nods to the song that weren’t too obvious but just obvious enough. I also love the take on begin again being about reconnecting with somebody. Also so glad she kept the story to just one night. The last 3 have time jumped so much it just didn’t work in 20 pages.

Day 6: Getaway Car
3.5/5 I actually was enjoying this, and then i got kinda scared the fmc was going to hit on her best friends ex boyfriend, but then i understood who was actually the getaway driver in the situation. It was cute, not exactly a love story but still fun and better than the first 3.

day 5: style !!!
OK NOT BAD AT ALL. Definitely one of the better installments. Again, these clearly work better when they take place in one day or one moment in time rather than trying to be a full book in 20 pages. I could see the style references and inspiration but i wish it was just a taaaad more in line with the song. But overall 4/5

holy fuck this was so bad. like… SO bad. the worst one yet??? and i thought love story’s was painfully off theme? this has NOTHING to do with ours ??? and the writing is so clunky and the pacing is terrible? and as an autistic person this is not the autism representation we want….

wtf was this??? the magic element really threw me
off. and the pacing was SO bad. idk i know this is YA authors but it just felt SO juvenile. love story had SO much potential im so mad this was the short story based on it. literally 1 star.

story one based on Fifteen: cute! i honestly didn’t know how this one was gonna work because obviously taylor does not sing about ending up with the guy she dated at 15….. but the end was sweet and on brand!! decent, 3.5 stars.
