Just starting - already know I am going love. What a remarkable author; The Kite Runner is an all time fave.

Bahaha! There are some great one-liners in this. Quick scene setup: three women in their fifties on a Cougar Cruise. "The guy's so young his pajamas probably have little feet."

This is a good one! Just reached an interesting twist.

It has taken me 200 pages to get into the rhythm of this book; it's good, just a different writing style. And now I get irritated every time I have to put it down to do something (laundry, cook, work...).

I have so many thoughts about this book so far. Review to come!

Took a minute to get into the cadence (hillbilly style), but this is certainly good and I'm guessing going to live up to its hype.

This plot - I mean, wow! I just wanna hate our protagonist, but I can't stop reading. Good stuff here.

It totally weirds me out that I am enjoying this book; I do not read fantasy, yet this is a gem!

Okay, this is a fun book! I have to admit, I'm feeling my age because I can't quite understand all of her references, but it's a hoot!

Just starting, but the prologue hit home.

I've never had a sister, but I can totally see this one happening.

...what am I reading?! If Goodreads allowed an emoji, I would use the "head blown" one. Seriously, what am I reading?!

On the one had, I actually like the dark side of this book, but I simply cannot seem to follow the dialogue or the plot. It's all over the place.

I am going to try a bit more and then, if things don't change, I may just retire it. Life's too short for bad books.
