V.K. > Recent Status Updates

Debating DNFing. It isn’t bad, which is why I’m still uncertain, I just don’t love the narrative distance, the main character, or the direction in which I see the story headed.

Never mind. This one isn't for me. . . .

I’m desperate to drop everything and finish this! 🙈🙈

Still loving it 🙌🏻

Already, this book is proof of three things:
1. There is an appropriate (emotional) season for every book. I read the prologue back in August and couldn’t get into it. Now, I’m wholly invested! Which brings us to point 2 . . .
2. I get S.A.D. in the summer.
3. I don’t mind heavy/dark tones in books. I just need them to have a good wit to keep me amused.
This book is 🤌🏻 so far!

So close to being done . . .

It’s been a bit since I’ve updated. Once again, I’ve been trying to decide whether or not I want to DNF this series. I like it just enough to keep going, but I’m not enjoying myself. I fear it’s putting me in a reading slump. 🙈
However, I’m too stubborn to quit, so I’m listening to the audiobook on 3x to try and get it done.
