Between books and I need an audiobook for the ever present pregnancy insomnia that’s hit, so I decided to give this a go. I’m quite enjoying it (though I don’t agree with their moral choices), and I’ll probably continue the series for funsies.

All right, I understand now, but I still say there was another way to handle the situation that didn’t add 50 pages.

I get so annoyed when authors do this. Why must everything be some horrendous trial? The book is already long enough; we don’t need another 50 pages of trauma to make it “interesting.” It just makes me bored. 😑

Finally getting back into this one now that I have the audiobook again! 🙌🏻

Admittedly, I’m fighting the urge to DNF this. I just hate forming opinions/reviews when I haven’t actually finished the book, so I want to power through and get it done.
