It’s been a bit since I’ve updated. Once again, I’ve been trying to decide whether or not I want to DNF this series. I like it just enough to keep going, but I’m not enjoying myself. I fear it’s putting me in a reading slump. 🙈
However, I’m too stubborn to quit, so I’m listening to the audiobook on 3x to try and get it done.

I want to say that while I haven't read these yet, I absolutely loved his Bloodsworn Trilogy. Maybe give that a try when you've forgotten these... next year?

I have the first book in the Bloodsworn trilogy and do plan to read it at some point. The content is just heavier and grittier than I anticipated, and that’s just not the types of stories I’m enjoying these days.
