Chapter on the genomics era is dated. It's post-candidate gene era but before huge biobanks, sib regression, RDR, GREML, and within-family designs.

Ch. 4 covers why the field privileged human research which he argues was a function of a subfield of clinical psychology dominating academics identifying with the BG label.

AP covers the Jensen '69 controversy wrt its impact on Dobs' apolitical BG play of the 50s and argues it compels triangulation from the field.

Review to come soon. Somewhat disappointed by this one, though I want to review more of N. Gross' primary publications. Otherwise, he seems to overlook the importance of the comingling between prestige signals and progressive politics in U.S. universities and adopts a faux naivety about some of the aspects of the college social ecosystems.

Panofsky spends a lot of time trying to define what a "misbehaving science" is, but there is nothing systematic about the effort. It lands as obviously incoherent. Many of the specific critiques that are previewed have been eclipsed by advances in genetics.
