The person that used all of SJM’s ideas and an editor that did their best to keep it from being straight up plagiarism

Okay, seems we’ve moved past this being SJM fanfic of mixing CC and ACOTAR, and into it being its own story.
I felt the MMC offering to help a hot stranger was forced. As forced as the FMC accepting the help of a hot deadly stranger.
But, it is what it is, and I’m dialed in. Chapter 18

As soon as the actress read the MMC’s part in chapter 6, the worry that the actor would be reading the FMC parts in his chapters set it.
Here we are, Chapter 7, and I’m both cringing and laughing!!
Why? Why is this happening?! You’re paying two actors. Let me the female read female and the male read male.

Chapter 6. Okay, so we’re done hinting that all the ideas for this book came from SJM. We’re just going ahead and announcing these are all stolen ideas.

If the nickname is Lore (Lor) then the name is LORE-n not Lo-REN.
Either the narrative is just annoying or the name is annoying. Or both.

Well damn, I have the FMC’s name. I just started the book and already wanna put it down because hearing it is annoying. How much long until it’s grating?

Chapter 34. Book almost done and I’m bored out of my mind. I even skipped the 🌶️ because I’m so bored I just want to get the book done.
This book is a good example of why I procrastinate on reading special/deluxe editions. It’s hard to find a book pretty if it was a disappointment to read

Hold on… she climbed around the rafters of the great hall because she grew up climbing trees with her brother, and wasn’t afraid. But, now in chapter 15, she’s afraid of heights?

Chapter 7 and I’m already sick of her biting the insides of her cheeks. Is it even possible to bite both at the same time? Doesn’t it hurt? Such an ick!

The human queen using the lay out of her wards as one big magic spell is a great info drop… a cool idea even! But it took until the end chapter 44?!!!
So much filler! I still don’t understand the need to capture the Scorpion demon. They could’ve just killed it.

I am struggling to finish this. At this point… It’s a hate read

In book 1 the Quicksilver tells Saeris that as long as it holds the song she won’t forget what they remember.
But here we are in book 2 chapter 24 the Quicksilver takes a memory — she forgets it — and the scary book reading vamp-monster asks what will she do when the Quicksilver takes all her memories.
Feels like the rules needed to chang for the plot, instead of the plot working within the established rules

Chapter 22 Stargazer:
Another bad version of trying to be like SJM.
Oh, no, dream sex has me smelling like Fisher and look I have bite marks.

So, first Saeris is “reborn” like Feyre and now she’s having her version of mind bridge sex like Rhun and Lidia.

Well… book 1 is named the exact word Feyre uses to describe Amern’s eyes

Chapter 20 Huntsman:
In the midst of saving the brother and finding silver. We’ve gone on a side quest to capture a demon and make anti venom.
No brother saved yet, but let’s stop to describe a dream-cabin and her face getting licked by a dream-fox, before we get a chapter of dream-sex.

Can book 2 have even dumber plot twits than book 1?
Yes. Yes it can. WTF are we on a Scorpio-Spider venom side quest?
