Say yes because you feel called, not because you consider yourself capable.

If you don’t sense a yes from God, don’t give one to the person asking you to fill the role.

“Yes, have the expectations in place, but know that sometimes God wants you to whisper gratefully under your breath to him, aware that joy and thankfulness can be found in the imperfect parts of life and home. Look for what God is doing in your heart. Learning to walk the fine line between being controlling and conscientious is a constant yet sanctifying struggle. It will keep you going to God for direction.

Remember, it’s your job to teach your children to ride, not to pedal the bike for them. Teach. Train. But know when it’s time to let go and trust.

In the beginning I felt sorry for Maggie, not to sure how I’m feeling as things unfold 🙃

Really don’t like Vance and hope Alina stays away. 😒

Very interesting from the beginning. Can’t wait to learn the background of Maggie and Nina and how things became this way…

I appreciate the background of the characters. Explaining how they are connected, as the story pieces itself together. Really curious about Josie and Allison’s history, but love the development of who Josie is.
