Well, yeiii, what a relief, Bryan found another thing to hurt Tobias with. Phew, this was close. We could not have that.

So dramatic. I still can't understand the notion of one part of a fated mate pairing actively sabotaging their relationship "because the other would be better off". Just makes me angry. All you do is intentionally hurting them for no reason.

Now I wonder whether I should have kept Blake in the cage after all. He would have eventually come around. But then we couldn’t have had a lovely time ice skating. Relationships are hard.

I've read all the other books in this universe so far and was waiting for Ben's book and for him to also find his HEA. So... why did I put this book down half way through to read something else for a bit, why do I not feel the chemistry between him and his mate?

Ok, interesting world so far and I kind of like the characters but I'm growing a bit bored TBH. Their journey so far is just going on and on with nothing happening. Them being intimate is supposed to show them growing closer but I feel merely a slite flutter and it doesn't elevate the boredom.

You know, every time I read Ink licking Rory's neck again, which is happening very often, my brain started picturing Rory's neck being red and chaffed AF. Very appealing. No wonder scarfs are in such high demand 😅

Can I ask one question? Well... two. What does Ian actually do? There is no coaching going on, no soul searching, no nothing, and when things get heated he even tried to avoid Carter or actively acted busy. So... what I'm getting, his job is to just be in the same room? I'm so confused.

I don't understand. They are practically together. They only have to wait one more week and he is covered in Gage's marks which are a stamp of ownership but still takes clients prostituting himself until that time as he and Gage actually become intimate for the first time???? I don't like it. Not at all. Gage even said that they had saved enough money already so he didn't actually have to do it.
