Katniss is so self centered. She never thinks about how Peeta a traumatised kid living alone, has nightmares too, has no one like her mom and Prim to console him. She's bored'n fakes her new hobby (ok 4 me) but she's rude and dont want to understand Peeta's paintings. She's like "Gale is so rebellious and Peeta is Capitole material" but don't listen to what Peeta is saying too. (Limited captions, have to stop) Argh!

Binchy writes her charachters with so much love I am amazed !

Once again, i am amazed by Binchy's nuanced charachters !

Sujet extrêmement intéressant, d'autant plus que l'auteur nous mintre bien la filiation avec des questions de racisme et suprématie blanche aujourd'hui.

The first page was amazing! I was taken away on the spot!
But now, so many descriptions and info and i clearly will not remember it all. Because i do think they're important or bring a lot of symbolism, i hope the writer has made sure to not be too ominous when the plot will start to be revealed.

The writing isn't good, nor subtile.
The love story is obvious and doesn't mix well into the rest of the book. It's like the editor pointed chapters were something emotional had to be added to please readers but it just feel odd and out of place... it also messes up the rythm.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi cette récurence des exemples américains en début d'ouvrage suivie par des banalités dans tout le 1er chapitre.
Je viens de commencer le 2e chapitre et pitié, qu'elle sorte de matrice hétéro blanche.

Je commence tout juste et comme tous les romans de Delorme, c'est magnifiquement écrit. <3
