Oh I already know I'm gonna love this book

The throw into the characters was very abrupt and they keep alluding to the 12 hour marriage without giving us a flash back or anything more than like 3 sentences :/ the added context for their current situation would've added a lot more depth to the characters

We finally start learning more back story by like 40% but we don't get his until like 60% but not in an ooh mysterious what's the his backstory, it's literally who's this random man I don't know anything about or care about!!! We've timed jumped through like 3 years so far but in the least cohesive way possible...girl you don't time jump mid paragraph who taught you how to write

This author took in medias res too literally, like girl I'm 25% through this book and I know literally nothing about the fmc where she lives, how old is she, I have no reason to care about her or the mmc either tbh like what is even going on

I'm waiting for this book to get good still ?

Update she's said alphahole too many times to count at this point but im emotionally invested in wounded morally grey men so I can't DNF this

If I have to read the word "alphahole" one more time I am dnfing this mf
