Full circle moment: took this book on vacation - find Bunny by Mona Awad in my accommodation - have been wanting to read Bunny so I read it before Woman in White - teacher in Bunny called Fosco - then I move on to read about the original Fosco. Satisfying.

The amount of books I’m reading simultaneously is getting out of hand, but the house I‘m vacationing in had this copy so how could I not?

Tragically, I am not very fond of the narrating style and while the story and characters were promising, this very narration makes everything way too contrived for me to enjoy.

I am truly upset because this is my first book by Olivie Blake and I really thought I was going to like anything she writes, but of course I won’t let myself be stopped from checking out her other books.
