I really like Bryce and Hunt's romance. None of that fated mates inevitability of Feyre and Rhysand, but rather two troubled souls slowly finding solace in each other. It's really sweet, and even with all the angel, demon, and Fae stuff, feels very real and down to earth.

Honestly I don't think it would be as bad if Bash hadn't also just recently found out about a son he didn't know he had from 23/24 years ago, presumably also from unprotected sex.

Ok the parts where he whispers sweet nothings in her ear - and she knows what he says! - are driving me bananas. She's deaf, she can't see his lips to read them. And I don't care how much he puts his lips to the shell of her ear, there's no way she can make out the mouth shapes of 3 full lines of dialogue! He also does this while spooning her from behind, so I can't even pretend she pulls back to see his lips! Gah!
