One of the best books I’ve read in years. Clear and densely populated with valuable information. I love this book because my role at work is a planner, but it’s really speaking to me!

This book is too dense thus far. Hard to read and sometimes meandering. Not at good as Water 4.0, but some of the later chapters look engaging so I’m still excited to finish it

About halfway through the book and nearly done with the UC Berkeley Extension course. The course was relatively weak. Project assignments and discussions really didn’t push me to learn. However, this book is nicely written and has good material. Meeting facilitation and decision techniques have been the highlight thus far.

Nearly done! Finishing up a few chapters on agile then I’ll reflect on what I learned. Class is over and was a great investment. I learned and reinforced a lot of good project management fundamentals.

I love the world of warbreaker. The magic system, the characters, the pacing. It all works for me.

Halfway through my UC Berkeley Extension PM course and halfway through this book. Both have been fantastic for reinforcing PM fundamentals. Much of the content are things I’ve intuited from my experience leading concrete canoe or wastewater engineering tasks, but some of the content has encouraged me to establish more documentation and stakeholder engagement. Me gusta!

End of day two — really enjoying how fast paced this book is! The interludes are well done. The 10-day structure is excellent. And all the content in between… really fun to read. I love the world that was built here. I have no idea how this is going to end. My shot in the dark is Kaladin ascending to Honor. You heard it here first

Finished all four audiobooks over the past two months (after a chiding from Mara I decided to no longer count listening as “reading” for my goodreads account). So excited to start this book! What a fitting and wonderful way to start the new year! A Way of Kings was the first fantasy book I read back in undergrad. It inspired a love for fiction in me that continues today.

I’m on Chapter 5. This book reads like candy compared to peer reviewed research articles or textbooks (which would maybe be vegetables?).

Such a great concept to reflect on a pivotal change to the way we protect the environment we enjoy (rivers, lakes, and oceans). It’s a little bit of a race to the finish on this reading goal, but I’m optimistic on finishing strong and starting the new year with my fav author

Good so far! Enjoying this book more than the stranger in the boat. Bought it for my mom for Christmas last year and getting around to it after she let me borrow it

I’m enjoying this but not one of my favorite books or series. The night court characters are great. I love an irreverent crew

She’s done it. Book three this far is my favorite of the series. Just finished the perfect way to close out the first half of this book. I’m surprised at how well new characters have been fully fleshed out in half a book. It’s refreshing to read a fantasy saga where everything is unfolding organically. Really impressed with this series, but the imagery of war is not for the faint of heart.

I really like how Kuang starts each book. Throwing the reader into the action is wonderful. Easy to pick up even with a break between this and book two.
