Seemingly disconnected threads crossing into common territory

I'm still enjoying dipping into these a few at a time. Lots of different people and many different kinds of love. Trent reads his own audio, frequently changing the words a little as all of us do when reading aloud.

The first few pages didn't appeal to me, so I checked friends' reviews - all multi-stars - read a bit more and glad I did!

This is slow-going. Interesting but not as absorbing as the previous books.

Curious short anecdotes

This looks like being long and political, but of course it opens with a murder of someone who was declared dead years ago. I look forward to "meeting" Sansom's 15-year-old Lady Elizabeth, destined to be come Queen Elizabeth the First.

I'm reading and also enjoying the audio. Winman's narration and her vocal interpretation of the first two women sound just how I'd imagine them.
