I just realised I haven’t read any black authors this Black History Month, so I’m introducing myself to Walter Mosley at last.

I'm enjoying this mix of personal and professional lives. I want to keep reading, which is always a good sign. 😊

Seemingly disconnected threads crossing into common territory

I'm still enjoying dipping into these a few at a time. Lots of different people and many different kinds of love. Trent reads his own audio, frequently changing the words a little as all of us do when reading aloud.

The first few pages didn't appeal to me, so I checked friends' reviews - all multi-stars - read a bit more and glad I did!

I am a Hirsch fan!

This is slow-going. Interesting but not as absorbing as the previous books.
