Lots of pretty good twist reveals throughout Chapters 46 to 49

Chapter 46:
I knew something was a bit fishy about Abba. But I thought she would secretly be a witch.

Chapter 47:
The moment the word “dhampir” was mentioned, I was SHOOK lol.

Chapter 48:
We finally learn more about Rena and what led to Elena’s (Julian’s mother) death

Chapter 49:
Lots of really good (familial) twist reveals in here!

The lore regarding the origins of both the werewolves and vampires seems pretty interesting so far. :)

I definitely did NOT expect that twist at the end. 😳

Some thoughts on the past few chapters:

Mal is an asshole now (but I’m sure they’ll explain why he’s acted harsh towards Alina)

Chapter 15 is where things start to really pick up!!

Baghra being the good guy (and the Darkling’s mother) is still such a good twist! 🙌🏽💕 (I watched the series first before reading the books, so I knew it was coming, but still! 👀👌🏽)

Finished up to Chapter 24 during my flight. So far, story’s been pretty intriguing.
