really enjoying this book so far, the only thing is that im really jealous that they can be running 40km a day 😂 and hitting 5km < 17mins

3/4 through the book and finally! there is light! there is hope!

finally, all 3 sisters in one scene tgt, my conclusion so far - i like bonnie, lucky is kinda ok, avery’s a bitch

almost halfway in, and as much as i was enjoying the writing that quickly pulls you into the characters and how real they feel… its starting to feel a little tooo dark and depressing… all the sisters have their own tramua and vices going on that its every page feels like a never ending misery… also we are 42% in but only had one brief interactions between the 2/3 of sisters.. lets just keep going

i am so excited to see that she released a new book!! became a fan after reading earthlings!!

lol its 5 years after the covid19 pandemic but smth still draws me to books about it, borrowed this one from the library, lets see if i make it through the entire book hahaha

im about 65% into the book and… so much has happened yet nothing has happened lol a lot of the dots are still left unconnected and i have no idea where the story is going, how its going to end… and most importantly, will it be a satisfying ending??? i honestly doubt so knowing murakami books always have open ended stories haha but def am sucked into the whole world that surrounds mr wind up bird 😂

oh damnnn finally a male!! character has been introduced (other than the main character of course), and i just binged read through his entire chapter (lieutenant mamiya’s long story part I & II)! it was so captivating and also disturbing, i could not stop despite how tired my eyes were haha

as always w murakami books, female characters are always over-sexualised which gives me the ick, but staying strong for the storyline right now hahah

started this book because niket recommended it to me, and even lent me his physical copy!! ☺️ forgot how nice it is to be reading a physical book, especially one that is 600 pages long haha the magic of murakami hits again, i still have no idea what is happening in this book but i am instantly immersed into the narrative and loving the whole experience. been awhile since my last murakami book, so im excited!!

oohh i thought this would be a slight fantasy book, but ive just finished chapter one & realised its not!! its regular people finding joy & meaning through regular library books. really enjoyed the first chapter!!

stumbled upon this book because it was mentioned in another book i read (how to know a person), so i already know the premise & ending of this book. started reading this book in cafe in bali now cause i have nothing better to do… and here i am… done with only the first chapter and already tearing up in public. heart wrenching 1st chapter but such beautiful writing

oh damn, this is the first time in a very long time this year that a book has made me soooo excited to read!!! started during my lunch break but now i got to put it down to do work first 😂 already excited to read it otw home later!!
