So the plot is about the aftermath of a murder spree at a camp? I do not like books only about the police or detective and thats the direction this is going. This book seems falsely advertised based off summary.

As a huge fan of Lucy & Desi this is a Beattie glimpse into their lives and love for each other. However, it does feel invasive. They’ve long passed but I’m sure they didn’t think these letters would be read by random people.

This is taking slow burn to a new level. Still waiting for something creepy to happen.

I feel like I’m reading a different book from reviews posted. This book is full of paranormal and spooky events! Many reviewers claim the book is more about marital problems. Did anyone actually read this? It’s so good and creepy!

Interesting so far but also a bit boring. I am tired of books being considered horror cause someone died. This is definitely Queer Fiction and Weird Fiction but it’s not horror. I am liking Ava’s chapters more than Savannah’s so far but read reviews that changes later on.

Read 3 short stories so far. Inventory was sooo good!!! I want more of that.

As always with self help books (and why I don’t read most) there’s a lot of repetition and rambling to make the book longer than the 100 pages it should be. I am skimming at this point to get to the actual “help” section. This book is much like The Secret which was popular a couple decades ago. Like attracts like.

Trying to figure out why this book has such low ratings. Many reviewers are clutching their pearls about sex scenes and missing the whole point. Magnolia is a 19 year old biracial woman in the South. Living in poverty and struggling with immense grief. 19 year olds aren’t the best with decision making especially when they need money. I’m loving the weird, morbid plot with Cotton and Eden.

Started off strong, but this is a slow burn apparently. Nothing has happened for half the book besides watching miserable lives play out. I’m guessing it gets better to have so many 4-5 star reviews.

There is so much going on in a good way overall! The book started to drag just a little for me. I think cause there’s so many POVs that take me away from the actual Good House. I want to stay on track there. But now it’s getting really good with a chapter from Marie’s personal notes. I’m bummed Tariq is obviously possessed.

Ok well chapter one destroyed me. But I’m ready to see where this goes. Intrigued by Angela’s family and past.

It’s kinda cringe. I appreciate the OCD representation. As someone who has OCD it was refreshing to read a true representation of it. But I need to know do these guys smell like cheese when they are in human form? I gave not able found that answer in the book and it’s bothering me because I could never be intimate with somebody who reeks of cheese. 🤣

This book is hard to put down.

While I am enjoying the book, I keep picturing the MC and her best friend as 11 year olds instead of 15. It must be the writing style. Trying to figure out what exactly has me picturing them still in middle school rather than high school.

Really enjoying this one! May be my one of my favorite reads of the year if it stays this good!

I love that each chapter starts with a lipstick shade or song. I made a playlist from the chapter songs to listen to while reading! The plot itself is strong already! Enjoying getting to know Lyric and Juniper.

Listening to audiobook and really liking the narrator. The story is a slow burn but still fun!

The book is decent so far but I only like Murphy. Not digging the love interest Ellie or Murphy’s best friend, Kat.

Who is behind all this??? Who are the elderly couple??? Can’t wait to find out!

A Christmas Carol has always been one of my favorite Christmas movies. The 1951 version with Alastair Sim as Scrooge to be exact. But I have never actually taken the time to read the classic story. I know it by heart from the many versions of it I have seen on the screen. I read a children’s book version I had as a kid, but never the original. Now is the time!

I have no idea who is doing what! I cannot wait to find out the reveal. This has been a fun, quick read.

Ok something must happen soon cause it’s too early to end happy. I will be docking this book one star because calling someone a “good girl” and asking “who’s my good girl” during every sex scene is creepy.

I am loving this book!!! It’s cozy, cute but also drama!!! I cannot wait to find out how this all plays out.

I have a feeling I’m gonna live this. I hope I’m not wrong. It has started off strong and Christmasy.

This is a slow read. I want more coffee shop and less Target. I already know who the villain is. It’s glaringly obvious. How did Brenda use WiFi in alternate universe but then never has a phone signal while there is rest of book so far?

Kat and Brenda are cute. The romance is refreshing.
