Maxi Zagorski is on page 150 of 240 of The Psychology of Selling: Increase Your Sales Faster and Easier Than You Ever Thought Possible
This book is pathetic and replete with personal anecdotes from the author with no basis whatsoever to support his claims. Hilariously bad. Can't wait to be done. The "good" advice is completely overshadowed by the mountains of "n of 1" anecdotes

Maxi Zagorski is on page 70 of 240 of The Psychology of Selling: Increase Your Sales Faster and Easier Than You Ever Thought Possible
This book contains a lot of generic advice.

What irks me most though—for a book that purports to be on psychology, this author cannot back up a single claim with a single citation. So much being pulled out of his ass, it's incredible.

Maybe it's the fact that I am scientifically minded that made me expect otherwise, but do not go into this expecting any evidence-based claims.

Amazing book, just very demanding in both attention and commitment to practice, which makes it a difficult read to get through.

Still, enjoying it thoroughly. A comprehensive and visceral dive into awareness, how to live as spacious awareness, our true nature, and away from the thought-based mistaken ego-identity we all commonly identify as. Essential read.

Ok I fucking love this book so far. The first-person stream of consciousness prose is amazing and really captivating. Also hilarious at times. Not hard to see why this book is such a timeless classic.

Read the intro and chapter 1 last night and man, it feels like this book beckoned me from my bookshelf at a moment of need in my life.

I've always been a sucker for psychology books and, after a long, long reading hiatus, I'm reminded why I love these so much. So much wisdom and so many learnings already.

I am super excited to keep reading this one. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

Great advice in this book. Too bad it's buried by an author that comes across as insensitive and obnoxious.

Liking it so far. Very philosophically dense, though. And with school and work at the moment with very limited reading time, this is not the best book to read leisurely. Takes a lot of brain power haha.

Still, the book is very intriguing, and I'm excited for what's ahead.

This book is gearing up to be the best book I've ever read. As others have said in the reviews, every page of this book is loaded with interesting and relatable information. It is incredibly well researched. It's a hard read, but well worth it.

If you're into psychology, then this book is totally for you.

Can't wait to keep reading.

Really really good so far. I wish I could keep reading it but I have no time right now with school, so it will have to go back on the shelf for the time being.

Read the Discourse on The Science and The Arts. Going to read yhe Discourse on Inequality later.

Although I largely disagree with Rousseau on most points, I see the value of his work, and the influence his work has had on many philosophers. Rousseau's work is a landmark of philosophical pessimism and there is no question as to why his work endures to this day.
