I am LOVING this book. However, I don’t think we’ve defined the word “rumble” and it just seems like corporate jargon for meaningful conversations. I don’t want more corporate lingo for the love of all that is holy.

I haven’t reread this in a decade and I’m kicking myself for it. This is a book made to be read aloud to truly appreciate the subtle way that this story evolves. 🤌

This is honestly scratching a media that heavily features Catholicism that’s definitely blasphemous itch I’ve been having.

This is just a less interesting novel set in the world of ghost in the shell. Maybe I’m not in the right headspace to be enjoying this?

This book is validating and horrifying

This book reminds me of how much of an obvious scam all of this was and is

I’m reminded how insane hooked was by Tristan’s psychotic behavior.

I know next to nothing about this book other than it’s popular and was available at my library without waiting. I feel like this has been a fun good time so far, we’re at a deadly and traumatizing dragon rider college. And Violet seems like she could be the chosen one of some kind.

The vibe is great. It’s fun and vintage Jane Austen. It’s a vignette of romantic affection.

I was really hoping that a re read would help how I feel about this ending and spoilers: it hasn’t. This is so anti climactic.

I finally remembered the name of the movie this reminds me of, crimson peak. But shake things up and add the fae to it
