Enjoying this a lot so far. I know there won't be spice but we are getting enough from the characters inner thoughts...may want to read more from this author.
The plot is good, like the characters, am invested.

This has me confused..it is not what i thought. They are friends but suddenly decide to kiss, and then they want to be a friend with benefits situation...and none of their mutual friends care? Also they have kissed and effed but they don't realize they have feelings for each other yet?

its starting to get just a little boring

Also like that this is a different romance, a matchmaker mafia romance.

Love: quick to get into the action, author is funny, like her writing style, he is instantly obsessed, also a cinnamon role with golden retriever energy, but don't mess with him though.
Dislike: how many times i have read the word kitten.

it is getting better, and things are coming out and sin is starting to redeem himself. I know the author did the same thing with the last book but in the moment you dont always know that things are going to work out. Also im pretty sure someone is gonna die so i'm probably not gonna like that either. The plot is really good, and i have a love hate relationship with dark romance, hes vicious but also toward her

I know there is plot twisty stuff happening and im sure everything will get resolved but right now im mad at everything. Ellie seems like shes weak, and Sin seems like a complete a-hole and the author is making it seem like he never cared about her. I know its all probably just to enhance the plot but right now i don't like where it has gone and i want ellie to stand up to sin, sin to be ott and get revenge on every1

Still trying to keep an open mind. I do notice his feelings come out and the soft side he shows her. Was not really a fan of the woods scene, he was really rough with her and threw her trauma in her face.

Like: hes possessive, jealous, touch her and die, shes badass and doesn't put up with shit. Hes *sort of* soft for her.
Dont: hes a little rough with her, i know she likes it but its right at that thin line of almost being too much, yet just enough. Hopefully his softness towards her continues.

trying to keep an open mind about this cause i enjoyed book 1 when i did that. I like that he is possessive and obsessed with her..I don't like that he is so rough with her, although she clearly prefers that. it does seem that he kind of has a soft spot for her which i like, but i wish it was a little more of a softness for her.

The slowburn and the back and forth of they almost kiss then they don't over and over again is killing me..its happened like 4 times now

i don't know if this book is for me. I find it hard to enjoy. I want to read more by this author but i don't really love this story so far. We are 70% in and he hasn't had his full "fuck it" moment yet. Also they mention how this relationship is fake like every other page...we know
