Stalled and likely not going back to it. I'm having a hard time. It feels like every page I read has something on it where I'm frustrated and saying "WHY didn't you hire an editor?" (or a really good editor...or take the advice of your editor!). Tonal inconsistencies, flaws in character logic, and an inability to convince me that the narrator was...well...who he says he is (physically or emotionally). V disappointed.

Reading books that are seeeeecrets. One might be next on CraftLit (or two)...

It's an odd little Jasper Fforde book. Surprisingly took me a while to get into it, but I loved it just the same.

Took me a good 150 to get completely hooked, but now I am and it's worth it. What a world this author's created!

Hideously addictive books. My son read them and kept talking about them so I figured I'd better catch up. Not brilliant works of heartbreaking literature but VERY addictive page turners (if with copious typos).
