Really interesting world building. Jury is still out on whether the characters are likeable, but they are intriguing.

Definitely an interesting premise. Having a struggle liking the main character very much, though.

Read the section on magic systems, which I bought the book for, and it was helpful. Still muttering under my breath about the formatting problems though....

The line between head-hopping and floating point of view is a bit blurry at times, and it feels like this one has crossed it multiple times.

Finished the first short story. Much more telling that showing, so a bit disappointed. Maybe this is the Regency Romance style though? Will try another chapter and see.

Now at the 97K word mark. We've got a cover and a preorder! Heading for the end of the roller coaster!
