These guys have no redeeming qualities

I’ve put off reading since there was so much hype around it. I can already tell this is going to be one of those books I wish I could read again for the first time. The beginning 3 chapters had me wondering if I was truly going to like it, then I realized the victims probably weren’t innocent people but LORDS who pissed off the wrong person.

Not a fan that they are implying getting Ariel pregnant without her consent. Having a breeding kink is fine, but knocking up your partner by sabotaging their birth control is not.

Also, the amount of time “our woman” is used is ridiculous.

The author spends way too much time trying go get across that they are Alpha’s

I hate when authors write things like “heat pooled in my belly” (sounds ridiculous) or “tasting his unique flavor” when sucking him. 🤢 that does not conquer up good thoughts, that just makes me think he hasn’t washed it recently.

I’m not sure I’m going to be able to finish. I’m going to try and start another book and see if I can come back to this one.
It just seem long and drawn for the past 100 pages and I’m really struggling to stay interested.

My attention span with this book is going downhill. It’s still really good but if this doesn’t end soon I will be bored.

Bree reminds me of Harley Quinn almost in her obsessions and the way she thinks.

With a title like this and Beatrix being the author I knew I was in for some fucked up shit.

She’s definitely on my top five list for a good reason. I get bored with all the same shit different name characters. Beatrix offers crazy in a pretty package named Bree. I’m loving all the characters so far but I don’t think I care for Dr. Orson.

The amount of manipulation in the book is disgusting. Claire was not without fault, but she wasn’t wrong for going off on Jared.
Originally I felt bad for Jared, but then realized that he’s was just as manipulative as Gabe, and he deserves to be miserable too. I mean, what kind of guy does that? I get that real life is messy and I’m sure things like this happen a lot but everyone in this book sucks

It’s official. I hate Gabe. He’s a clueless spineless piece of shit that deserves to be alone.

“What does that have to do with anything?” Gabriel looked genuinely confused. “Nothing would change for you. You’re my family. Jared is…” He trailed off.

“Look…” Gabriel took her hand. “I know this must be weird for you, but you have no reason to feel threatened—or jealous.”

The fact that Gabe lied to Claire and flew to the US to see Jared and then proceeded to declare is undying love for Jared and kiss him! The nerve of that man!!! His girlfriend is back at home taking care of THEIR newborn while Gabe is being an unfaithful shithead. The more the think about it the more angry I get. If Gabe had just TALKED to Claire about how he was feeling I think she would have been fine with it.

I can’t put the book down but I’m not sure for the right reasons. Gabe is a giant asshole. Poor Jared and Claire, they didn’t ask to be used and stung around. What a selfish prick! I mean Claire WAS stupid by purposely getting herself pregnant but that doesn’t mean she deserves this. Jared has wasted YEARS pinning after something he cants have. I am angry 😠

This characters are so fucked up. About 30% in I realized I was starting to get annoyed by Eden and her stupidity but at around 50% she started to smarten up and grow a back bone with it. While Damien is an awful person, Cain is far far worse. I give this author credit since I’m book 1 I was kinda rooting for all 3 MCs, but by book 2 I hated Cain.

There is some underage content when Eden was 3 weeks shy of 18 and Cain is about 27 so If that bothers you, you’ve been warned. Also there is a m/m scene if that’s not your thing either. I wish the author didn’t jump around quite as much as she does because I did get a bit of whiplash, but my god it’s such a good book I don’t care. This is definitely going in my favorite pile for many reasons.
