alice’s chapters are a bit of a snooze ngl but the prose is as lush and entrancing as ever!

trying to finish the reading year up with this & atmosphere—trying to have normal expectations about both bc I know they both received mixed reviews earlier in the year🤞🏼

I think this was just okay; wish we got more on the twist / another flashback chapter perhaps, kinda corny in the way that Christmas media is. sure! would recommend the audio (as mentioned before!)
