prob like a 3.5 because I felt like it talked down to the reader at times and didn’t trust us to figure some things out, but this was a sweet lil read

but yes, this was the very Fine palate cleanser the doc ordered, but some of the action sequences zipped by a lil too fast/nonsensically

this is an interesting one to rate for me—I had fun, as with every bellefleur joint, but I wouldn’t necessarily call this a romance book™️ (which is fine!). def felt more like women’s fic that happens to have an HEA, but the story wasn’t about the relationship involved in the HEA—you feel me? I almost want to round up bc I feel like she doesn’t get her due like EmHen does but I’ll prob stick w/ a 3

i know some people feel a certain way about pop culture references in book but sometimes ! you just have to admonish people for acting crazy in front of your salad!!
