Kenneth is on page 51 of 239 of Revelation and the Politics of Apocalyptic Interpretation
This is going to be a very slow read--not because of the writing, but because it makes so many interesting points that it takes time to research them all.

Kenneth is on page 42 of 288 of Divine Vintage: Following the Wine Trail from Genesis to the Modern Age
This has been an interesting read so far, but I have problems with much of the Biblical exposition, finding it a bit stretched. The authors have a point they want to make and have little problem twisting unrelated references to their goal.

Kenneth is on page 46 of 177 of Reading Backwards: Figural Christology and the Fourfold Gospel Witness
So far it's a real page turner. The nicest thing has been getting support references for things I've taught for some time.

Kenneth
Kenneth is on page 73 of 395 of Center Church: Doing Balanced, Gospel-Centered Ministry in Your City
An excellent, but slow read. What makes it slow is the constant deep thoughts inspired on almost every page.

Interesting, thought I find myself questioning some of their reasoning.

Kenneth is on page 167 of 368 of What Really Happened in the Garden of Eden?
Though I don't agree with everything, this book is well written and laid out. It has been so interesting that it is quite a page-turner.

Kenneth is on page 21 of 288 of Letters to a Diminished Church: Passionate Arguments for the Relevance of Christian Doctrine
This is an excellent book thus far. Not only is it interesting, but the author is a true wordsmith whose writing is a pleasure to read.

Kenneth
Kenneth is on page 107 of 242 of The Professor and the Madman: A Tale of Murder, Insanity and the Making of the Oxford English Dictionary
An interesting story of the discovery that one of the greatest contributors to the Oxford English Dictionary was a scholarly lunatic in an asylum for murder.

I am intrigued by his exposition of Aquinas' virtue of Caritas (Charity) as animating and focusing the other virtues. He goes on to argue the addict attempts to make up for the lack of this virtue with the addictive behavior.

Kenneth
Kenneth is on page 83 of 199 of Addiction and Virtue: Beyond the Models of Disease and Choice (Strategic Initiatives in Evangelical Theology)
Though only a short way into his full argument, the author has done an excellent job of showing the false dichotomy so prevalent in the views of addiction--limiting it to either a disease or a choice.

Like most analytic philosophy the reading can be slow, and at times laborious. However, the modal arguments are a thing of beauty. Dr. Almeida handles the Anselmian arguments quite deftly.

Though I haven't gotten far into his argument, I enjoy the way he frames it and the philosophical approach to the subject.

Kenneth is on page 13 of 374 of Understanding Judaism: The basics of deed and creed
He makes excellent points in the comparison between Christian emphasis on orthodoxy and Jewish emphasis on orthopraxy. However, his representation of the Christian view is a bit skewed--though that is to be expected.
