Well it was just delightful but about 30 minutes ago everything went completely sideways. I’m sure it will tie up its perceived loose ends but it’s just gone off the deep end already and can’t pull up from this disaster. What a disappointment.

Just delightful. I am enjoying this book so much. Each character is so different and yet fascinating. I want to know them each better.

Narrator Fiona Hardingham is a favorite

Fantastic how to on connecting. Everyone should read. I will purchase and reread immediately because it is teaching me how to be a better person

This book has been gruesome so far but the 4/22/1912 entry is horrific. Skipping this chapter

This has been a pretty great book but now it’s hitting the romance button. I was really hoping there’d be a asexuals ending that made this book completely new and different. Quitting now.

And isn’t that what hope is? Not a wish not a specific thing that you pray will be delivered to you, but merely an expectation that whatever dark sleety side of the road, you might find yourself on, will not last forever.

Idk what the heck is going on here. Nothing is going on at all. Not sure if I’m the audience for this book. Not sure if this is a book I read.
Also, so consumerized and concrete. Ironically not answering any questions to the meaning of life though that’s what the main character is looking for.

Meh. I’m listening to the audiobook version and it’s getting pictured as a Scooby-Doo cartoon. These kids are very similar to Velma & Scooby and all the “patients” are the bad guys.
I’m letting this sit for a while and shelving it as unfinished.

Reading via audio at 1.8 speed. Just got to the 1/2 way micro-dosing spot and it’s somehow very amusing.
If I had ever been roofied, this would be awful.

Dion Graham is a 5 star narrator

I’ve really enjoyed the book up till now. it’s beautifully written, has lovely culture, and cultural art references. Just now there was a lovely spicy twist that I confess,I was not expecting this is my first book by this author. Very much enjoying!

While she may have a good point about the reality of identity, I can’t get into this “clever hook up banter”. Done after 3 chapters.

I started this book with worries about boredom from the writer’s frustration of their nomadic choices. Instead it is a refreshing invitation to smallness in a vastly rich connection of global colors.
I’m in love with the world and this text

This story just took a WILD left turn. Character development has been minimal and the heroine is so vanilla she is tofu. But we just met her mother’s lover, possible bio-dad widow and I can’t put it down! I was about to quit this book this morning.

Ugh- this is not the Sequoyah book list “The Memory Thief”! I’m reading the wrong book!

Chapter 3: this book got on the”to read” list because it’s a 2023 Sequoyah. Having read 4 off the list in the past 2 weeks with great success, started my third grader on the audiobook and sent him to his room. Six chapters later I’m in deep regret. From what I’ve heard of chapter 6 (and now retracing his steps of 1-3). This is not a kid book.

Murder She Wrote meets Hunt for Red October. Delightful!
